Wild's Dubnyk revels in 'rare one goal-against shutout'

Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk leads the league with four shutouts, even if his most recent one is a bit unlike the others.

Dubnyk turned aside all 28 shots he faced in Minnesota's 1-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday. The 29-year-old goaltender was aided after Wild coach Mike Yeo challenged an apparent goal by Toronto's Peter Holland with four minutes remaining in the third period, claiming that the Maple Leafs were offside on the play.

Although Dubnyk admitted he wasn't aware of that situation, he gladly accepted the result.

"It's the rare one goal-against shutout," Dubnyk told reporters. "You don't see it too often."

Dubnyk stood tall the rest of the way to make defenseman Matt Dumba's power-play goal stand up for the Wild.
