Wild's Bouchard watches, waits for head to heal

Pierre-Marc Bouchard was supposed to be centering Minnesota's second line this season. Instead, he's been out since the first game with symptoms of a concussion.

Bouchard says he hasn't given up hope of playing again this season, but time is running out with only 21 games to go after the Olympic break.

He is unable to work out, other than taking walks, as long as he continues to have headaches. Bouchard was originally hit in the head during a game last March, and he's spent much of the season watching his teammates as a spectator.

Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher says there's no rush to get Bouchard back in the lineup.
