Where does the hope lie for New Jersey?

The New Jersey Devils have missed the playoffs for three consecutive seasons. Despite this, there are plenty of reasons for fans to have confidence in GM Lou Lamoriello, and the rest of the team heading into next year. 

Goaltender Cory Schneider was a workhorse all season for New Jersey, and proved that he is capable of leading the team into the playoffs once the right pieces are in place in front of him. With Schneider in net, and the experience that Lamoriello brings to the table, having been at the helm since 1987 and providing the blueprint for three Stanley Cup victories, fans should have a little faith in the organization.
