WATCH: Malcolm Subban hits 'The Whip' after making shootout save

Summer may be over, but the dance battles to the song "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" have yet to end. Hockey player Malcolm Subban recently broke new ground with one of the signature moves from the popular dance when he used it to celebrate making a save in a shootout.

Subban's form for "the Whip" is particularly impressive, given that he's pulling the move on ice.

The 21-year-old enters his third season with the Providence Bruins after missing out on the Boston Bruins' back-up job to Jonas Gustavsson. Subban totaled a .921 save percentage in 35 games with the Providence Bruins last season.
