Watch Jaromir Jagr collect his 1,900th point on his 45th birthday

Jaromir Jagr celebrated his 45th birthday on Wednesday, making him the fifth player in NHL history to play into his age 45 season. He took that celebration on the road as his Panthers headed into San Jose hoping to keep their hot streak alive against the Sharks.

Despite a high-scoring contest, Jagr was kept off the scoresheet for most of the game. But in the third period, the Czech winger reached a significant milestone when he delivered the primary assist for an Aleksander Barkov goal. That apple gave Jagr point No. 1,900 on his career.

Between the birthday, the milestone point and his Panthers going on to win in overtime for a big two points towards the playoff race, it was a pretty solid Wednesday for Jagr. Hopefully his next 200 birthdays are just as special as this one.
