Watch Erik Karlsson get ruthlessly turnstiled at Team Sweden practice

Not only did Team Sweden lose their first World Cup of Hockey exhibition game to Finland on Thursday afternoon, but star defenseman Erik Karlsson nearly lost his ankles at practice the following day.

Poor Karlsson, a Norris Trophy winner for the Ottawa Senators, got absolutely destroyed by a series of moves performed by teammate and fellow defenseman (!) Niklas Hjalmarsson on Friday morning. The result was hilarious for us, but hilariously embarrassing for Karlsson, who is considered one of the best skaters in the NHL.
