Vancouver Canucks attend Remembrance Day Ceremony during Ottawa trip

The Vancouver Canucks are in Ottawa one day early ahead of a game against the Senators on Thursday, and Vancouver took advantage of the trip by attending the National Remembrance Day Ceremony in the nation's capital Wednesday.

The ceremony took place at the Ottawa War Memorial and featured many veterans of World War I and World War II. According to CTV News, police estimated over 35,000 people attended the ceremony. Multiple reports on Twitter claimed the entire Canucks roster made it to the ceremony.

While there, the Canucks had a chance to meet Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan and were able to pay their respects to all who served along with thousands of other Canadians Wednesday. 

The day's proceedings evidently made an impression on winger Adam Cracknell, who tweeted about the event shortly after the ceremony.

That's one way to spend an off-day.
