Troy Brouwer receives adorable letter from young Capitals fan

T.J. Oshie isn't the only player who broke the hearts of young fans in the July 2 trade that sent him from St. Louis to Washington in exchange for Troy Brouwer, goalie Phoenix Copley and a third-round draft pick. It turns out young Washington fans were just as upset about losing Brouwer, who spent the last four seasons with the Capitals. 

Brouwer tweeted a picture on Thursday of a thank you note he received from a fan named Daniel, and it seems like Brouwer gave Daniel a stick despite having to say goodbye to the Capitals fanbase.

This wasn't quite the same as the viral video of one of T.J. Oshie's youngest fans, but it's adorable nonetheless. Nice to know Daniel has a Blues jersey to use in support of Brouwer.
