Tippett may 'fast-track' some guys to the NHL
There were an awful lot of young, high-end talented players at this year's development camp for the Arizona Coyotes. Coyotes head coach Dave Tippett made sure to keep a close eye on all of them, as a great deal of them could be on his team this year.
"We're trying to fast-track some people to the NHL," Tippett told Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic. "So we have to give them as much attention as possible."
There are several high-caliber prospects that Tippett could be referring to, including Max Domi, Anthony Duclair, Brendan Perlini, Christian Dvorak and even Dylan Strome. The group impressed Maloney at the camp.
"It got to the point where I had to forget about last year, and you're looking at the bright side of things," Tippett said. "Seeing a group of players as talented as we have out here right now is certainly moving in the right direction."
