Shayne Gostisbehere will sit again and there’s rumbling that its getting old with some players in the Philadelphia Flyers locker room. The Flyers are better team with the “Ghost” in the lineup. It’s true the 23 year old has fallen on tough times lately but he is still the most talented offensive defenseman on the roster.

Goalie Michal Neuvirth will start in net.

Michal Neuvirth is in a groove allowing just two goals in his last two played posting .964 and .938 SV%. Coach Dave Hakstol will go to Neuvy for the third consecutive game.

Who to watch on the Blues : Vladimir Tarasenko

The All-Star forward leads the Blues in goals scored and points this season.  Tarasenko has scored 23 goals and 50 points in 52 games played. Tarasenko leads all Blues players by 15 points. The Russian forward was a -4 on Saturday night vs. Pittsburgh expect Tarasenko to come out firing. The 25 year old sniper has 4 points in his last 5 games played.

Who to watch on the Flyers: Travis Konecny

Travis Konecny will return to the Flyers lineup after sitting the last two games. Matt Read will sit Monday to make room for the 19 year old teen forward. Travis Konecny collected 7 goals and 22 points in 50 games played so far in his rookie year. Sitting fifth on the Flyers in points.

“I’m still going to be trying to make offensive plays in the right situations.” TK not worried about short leash

“I’m not really looking for what he’s learned,” Hakstol said of Konecny. “I’m looking for what he can add to the lineup.”
