Snoop Dogg a Maple Leafs fan? Star rocks Toronto prospect's jersey

Is Snoop Dogg a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs? Anything is possible, especially considering the rapper rocked Leafs prospect Mitchell Marner's junior team jersey while in London, Ont. ahead of the NBA All-Star Game this weekend.

Marner, the No. 4 overall pick from the 2015 NHL Draft, seemed to be honored by Snoop Dogg's choice in apparel.

The 18-year-old Marner currently plays for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League and ranks second on the team in scoring with 83 points (30 goals, 53 assists) in 40 games. He is one of the most exciting young prospects in the Maple Leafs' system.

This is not the first time Snoop Dogg has been spotted in a hockey jersey. He rocked both a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey and a Springfield Indians sweater in a 1994 music video for his song "Gin and Juice" and has been spotted in jerseys of numerous teams over the years.

Still, it must have been a special moment for an 18-year-old kid like Marner to see a rap star wearing his jersey. Welcome to the big leagues, Mitch Marner.
