Senators' Bobby Ryan scores beautiful backhander in OT to beat Penguins in Game 1

The Senators are once again the underdogs in their third straight series this postseason, but they're still not laying down for the doubters.

Bobby Ryan gave Ottawa a big road victory in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference final series against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night when the veteran winger delivered the game-winner on a sweet, sweet top-shelf backhander in overtime to give the Senators a 2-1 victory.

The smooth tally is worth appreciating on repeat:

This marked Ryan's fifth goal of the playoffs so far — three of which have been of the game-winning variety. The 30-year-old continues to play well and be a difference-maker for Ottawa after a pretty tough regular season in which he only scored 13 goals.

It's certainly not a bad time of the year to find a little redemption.
