Sam Reinhart scores first NHL goal

It took him 14 games, but Sam Reinhart finally got that long awaited goal.

In the Buffalo Sabres' 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Reinhart won a puck battle along the half boards in the Lightning's defensive zone. Tyler Ennis picked up the puck and quickly snapped a shot at Tampa goaltender Ben Bishop. The puck re-directed behind the net, and Ennis fired it back towards Reinhart, who slapped it past Bishop.

Reinhart, drafted by the Sabres with the second-overall pick in the 2014 draft, has played in 14 games for Buffalo. He has one goal and two assists so far in his young career.
