Report: Nashville Predators to let Steve Moses go

It looks like the Steve Moses experiment did not work out, as the Predators have elected to let Moses go per a report from Elliotte Friedman. 

Moses signed a one-year, $1 million deal with the Predators in April after setting a KHL record for goals in a season (36) with Finnish team Jokerit during the 2014-15 season. The Massachusetts native played with Jokerit for three seasons following a college hockey career with the University of New Hampshire. Moses totaled 118 points in 157 games with Jokerit and posted 57 points in 60 games in his final season there. 

But the NHL is worlds away from the KHL, and Moses learned that lesson as he failed to make the Predators' roster out of training camp and instead played for the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL. Moses totaled eight points (two goals, six assists) in 16 games for Milwaukee. He missed time in November when he was held back from a road trip for a violation of team rules. 

Should Moses indeed head back to the KHL, he would join a SKA St. Petersburg team which currently sits in first place in its division.
