Report: Jarret Stoll arrested for possession of drugs

Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll was arrested Friday on suspicion of drug possession at the MGM Grand Hotel’s Wet Republic pool complex, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Stoll was allegedly in possession of cocaine and ecstasy and was taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. He reportedly posted a $5,000 bail and was released from the Clark County Detention Center.

The Kings are currently looking into the issue. The team released a brief statement late Friday night:

“We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll," the statement read. "Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”

It’s unclear if Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, Stoll’s girlfriend, was with him at the time of the arrest.

Stoll will be an unrestricted free agent July 1.
