Red Wings goalie's Christmas-themed mask features Will Ferrell's character from 'Elf'

"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"

As it turns out, Will Ferrell's character from the 2003 hit film "Elf" prefers his wings red.

Detroit Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek unveiled a Christmas-themed mask this week, one which features the beloved Buddy the Elf character on the side.

This isn't the first special pop culture-themed holiday mask from Mrazek, either. In 2014, he commissioned a Christmas mask that paid tribute to "Family Guy,' and last year he honored "Robocop."
