Philadelphia Flyers Shutout For Second Straight Game

The Philadelphia Flyers were shutout Monday Night for the second straight game.

The  Philadelphia Flyers come out controlling the game out shooting the Blues 11-1 after the 1st period. Philadelphia was unable to capitalize on two power plays  in the 1st frame taking just two shots with the man advantage.

St.Louis opened the scoring at 15:22 of the second period as Paul Stastny put the visitors up 1-0. St.Louis would outshoot the Flyers 11-4 in the second.

After a bad turnover by Jake Voracek, Kenny Agostino would score a breakaway goal.

    Philadelphia was unable to get anything going on the power play taking 3 shots on 3 power-plays.

    Radko Gudas went low on Colton Parayko delivering a hip check. The Blues took exception as a scrum ensued. Parayko and Gudas were both penalized. Parayko was given a double minor for roughing giving the Flyers a late power play. The Flyers weren’t able find a  goal. Going 0/4 with the man advantage on the evening.

    Philadelphia Flyers Rookie Travis Konecny left the game due to an injury and will evaluated tomorrow.

    The Philadelphia Flyers return to action Thursday Night at the Wells Fargo Center vs. The New York Islanders.
