Penguins' Bonino records hole-in-one to celebrate big week
Pittsburgh Penguins center Nick Bonino certainly had a memorable week.
After being acquired by the Penguins in a three-player deal with the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, Bonino continued his good fortune four days later by reportedly making a hole-in-one.
Bonino confirmed on Twitter that he recorded the ace at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., however many of his followers couldn't take their eyes off his flashy pants.
The 27-year-old Connecticut native admitted he wears the flag pants every Saturday on the golf course and appeared to take the comments - both good and bad - in stride.
Bonino was acquired with defenseman Adam Clendening and a 2016 second-round pick from the Canucks for Brandon Sutter and a 2016 third-round selection.
