FOX Bet associate trader Steven Hemke predicted the New York Rangers would upset the Metropolitan Division champion Carolina Hurricanes in seven games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

That's exactly what happened.

But the Rangers ran into the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning in the conference finals.

"Both teams are very similar with the likely Vezina winner Igor Shesterkin taking on his idol and fellow countryman former Conn Smythe winner Andrei Vasilevskiy," Hemke said. "They both sport top offensive talent in Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and top D-Man, Adam Fox of the Rangers against Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and their top blueliner, Victor Hedman

"This is the new kids on the block taking on the old vets in what should be a six- or seven-game series."
