NHL releases second-round schedule
The NHL released the schedule on Tuesday for the second round of the playoffs with two scenarios for the Canadiens depending on who wins Game 7 between Tampa Bay and Detroit.
If Tampa wins, the Canadiens' schedule will look as follows:
If Detroit wins, the Canadiens' schedule will look like this:
The biggest difference is the possibility of a back-to-back for Games 3 and 4 should Montreal face the Lightning in the second round. The NHL noted that start times for the games are all subject to change.
