Brian Boyle, after heading to Toronto to provide some center depth the veteran forward did not see much success, with Toronto's variety of young players and successful last season, you can see Boyle somewhere else besides Toronto come next year. Boyle was said that if Tampa were a team to offer him a contract he would be more than happy to go there. With some contract and cap issues will Tampa bring back their former assistant captain Boyle?
Patrick Marleau, again another veteran forward, who is coming off a 27 goal season at the age of 37 becomes another interesting topic for the Sharks. Marleau, unlike Thornton, has spent his whole career in San Jose it would be surprising to see either of them walk. Supposedly San Jose offered Marleau a 2-year contract, also the Ducks and Leafs are among others interested.
Nick Bonino, coming off two Stanley Cup wins and a broken tibia, the 29-year-old center has made a name for himself as a sturdy depth center, he's had a lot of success in helping Pittsburgh, so any team looking to improve their forward depth could be after Bonino.
