There were 12 games on the NHL schedule for Tuesday night, First, the Flyers shut out the Avalanche 4-0, the Capitals topped the Rangers 4-1 and the Predators topped the Sabres 5-4 in OT.

The Bruins beat out the Coyotes 4-1, the Panthers topped the Hurricanes 3-2 in a shootout and the Canadiens topped the Blue Jackets 1-0 in OT. The Wild beat the Jets 6-5, the Oilers topped the Blues 2-1 and the Stars beat out the Penguins 3-2.

Lastly, the Flames topped the Kings 2-1 in OT, the Red Wings topped the Canucks 3-2 in OT and the Sharks topped the Leafs 3-1.
