New York Islanders Daily: The Rookies Got Beat Up By Rookie Flyers
A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.
The New York Islanders rookies played a scrimmage at the Northwell Health Ice Center against the Philadelphia Flyers rookies. It didn’t go that great for the Isles squad.
The most exciting part would be watching the line consisting of Mathew Barzal, Michael Dal Colle and Josh Ho-Sang. All three of them are exciting young prospects that can make the big club sooner rather than later.
The Islanders had two goalies split time. Eamon McAdam started and didn’t allow any goals in his period and a half of work, but Stephon Williams did. He let in the four Flyers goals.
The final score doesn’t always matter so much in scrimmage games. It’s more about players developing and building chemistry together. The positive results will come later.
