Miller rejoins Sabres at Pittsburgh
As the Sabres practiced in Buffalo on Monday, Miller traveled directly to Pittsburgh to rejoin his team for a game against the Penguins on Tuesday, team spokesman Michael Gilbert said.
Traveling with Miller from Vancouver was Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff, who was an assistant for Team Canada, which beat the U.S. 3-2 in overtime to win the gold medal on Sunday.
Miller was the Olympic tournament's MVP after going 5-1 and allowing only eight goals.
It's unclear whether Miller will play against the Penguins in Buffalo's first game since the end of the NHL's Olympic break.
