Josh Bailey got a teammate's stick lodged in his visor
A lot of NHL players wear visors for protection these days, but every once in a while those visors cause more trouble than they prevent.
Such was the case on Thursday night for the Islanders' Josh Bailey, who got a teammate's stick lodged in between the visor and his helmet during play. While battling for the puck in the corner, Bailey took a stick up high from John Tavares and then found himself skating away with Tavares' lumber trapped just a few inches from face.
It was a precarious situation and Bailey appeared to be a bit helpless in the aftermath. Luckily, a generous official offered some help and managed to free the stick out of the visor, allowing Bailey to get back into the play moving up ice.
