Jaromir Jagr had an incredible excuse for missing his 25-year Stanley Cup reunion

Just when you forget how incredible Jaromir Jagr's career longevity is, there tends to come a reminder that puts things in proper perspective. We all got one of those reminders over the weekend.

That's right, some Pittsburgh Penguins alumni got together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1992 Stanley Cup championship, and a 44-year-old Jagr couldn't attend because he had an NHL game to play that night. Sure, it helps that Jagr entered the league as a teenager and won back-to-back Cups in his first few seasons, but still playing in the league 25 years after winning a Cup (not to mention your second Cup) is pretty mind-blowing.

I hope Jagr wasn't too bummed about missing the reunion with his old pals from the Penguins, but something tells me he was just fine playing a hockey game instead. Plus, there's always the next milestone anniversary to attend, though I don't think we can rule it out that he may still be playing.
