Jakub Voracek single-handedly takes down Rangers with awesome OT goal

It may not officially count towards his stats because we're still stuck in preseason, but Jakub Voracek gave hockey fans a treat on Monday night.

The 27-year-old Flyers forward used the vast open ice during 3-on-3 overtime to showcase an incredible individual effort and end the game with an excellent goal. Voracek outmuscled Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh for a loose puck in the offensive zone and then proceeded to play keep-away from McDonagh (and Derek Stepan) as he carved his way through the zone. As for Rick Nash, the third Ranger on the ice, his defensive effort (or lack thereof) didn't do much to disrupt.

Ultimately, Voracek found his way to the front of the net and tucked the puck past Rangers netminder Mackenzie Skapski to send the Philly crowd home happy. That's got to be a welcome sight for Flyers fans, as Voracek had a down year in terms of goal-scoring last season, netting just 11 goals in 73 games.

This could be the beautiful start to a bounce back campaign.
