Islanders selling icy Nassau Coliseum souvenirs

Looking for a piece of history from the Islanders' last game at storied Nassau Coliseum?

Well, you're in luck ... although it won't be a piece so much as it'll be a puddle.

The Islanders are selling to fans the melted-down version of the ice that was on the surface on April 25 for the team's final game before moving to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn next year. For the low, low price of $20, plus shipping and handling, you can get a tube of the water that was on the arena surface for the Isles' home finale, a playoff win over the Capitals.

It also comes with a certificate of authenticity from the team, which is practical given that, well, it's water.

Granted, it's not a seat or a locker or anything that'd be immediately recognizable, and it's now in a slightly different form, but a cool souvenir is a cool souvenir nonetheless, right? Order now (limit five tubes per order)!
