Islanders' Greiss aids stranded drivers during snowstorm
New York Islanders goaltender Thomas Greiss doesn't just do his best to prevent others from scoring on the ice. He also prevents them from getting stuck in the snow.
With a snowstorm wreaking havoc on the East Coast this weekend, Greiss played the role of a Good Samaritan by using the tow rope on his vehicle to assist drivers get their cars out of a jam.

Greiss, 29, temporarily veered off his course to Home Depot to help such a driver, all under the watchful eye of his "proud wife" Brittney.
Way to go Greisser! https://t.co/yA232AFIt7

Greiss found himself with some extra time on his hands after the snowstorm postponed the host Islanders' tilt versus the Metropolitan Division-rival Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
Most assuredly, one driver certainly was pleased that Greiss was on the roads as opposed to in goal at Barclays Center.
