Game of bounces has Canadiens sticking to the plan
In the first three games of the Montreal/Ottawa first-round playoff series, it was Montreal who had all of the puck luck. In Game 4, that luck shifted over to Ottawa.
The Senators topped the Habs, 1-0, in Wednesday's tight game which featured great scoring opportunities for both sides. The Canadiens easily could have taken the lead in the second period on a shorthanded breakaway opportunity for Brandon Prust, but Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson made a great save to preserve the then-0-0 score. A little more luck for Montreal and it would have been a different story.
So Montreal goalie Carey Price said the Canadiens are not worried about the loss and won't change anything ahead of Friday's Game 5.
"We got the bounce last game, they got the bounce this game; that's playoff hockey," Price told the media after the game.
"We've just got to do the same thing. There's no secret to it; their backs are against the wall. We just need to keep pressing and keep making it difficult to come up the ice."
