Coyotes' Domi gets haircut, nets hat trick
Arizona Coyotes rookie forward Max Domi needed to change things up to end his lengthy goal drought.
With that in mind, Domi visited a barber for a quick snip early on Tuesday and - lo and behold - netted his first career hat trick later that night. The 20-year-old was at a loss when attempting to explain his scoring binge shortly after Arizona skated to its season-high fourth straight victory with a 4-3 triumph over the Edmonton Oilers.

Unfortunately, Domi donned a cap after the contest - thus keeping the majority of his hair from view.

Domi scored his team's first goal 12:37 into the second period and tallied twice on the power play in the third as the Coyotes recorded their fifth hat trick of the season. Mikkel Boedker notched two to his credit in 2015-16 while captain Shane Doan and rookie Anthony Duclair each had one.

For the record, Domi's famous father Tie failed to post a hat trick during his lengthy career.
Domi's goals on Tuesday were his first since Dec. 4, when he scored twice in a 5-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
Domi's 13 tallies on the season trail only Doan (15) for the team lead. The 12th overall pick of the 2013 draft, Domi also has 18 assists to reside one point shy of defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson (32) and Boedker (32) for the team lead.
