Colorado Avalanche officially unveil Coors Light NHL Stadium Series sweater
Gabriel Landeskog took to Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, to unveil the sweater the team will be wearing against the Detroit Red Wings in the Coors Light NHL Stadium Series event scheduled for Feb. 27, 2016.
Pretty sweet sweaters, right? The numbering is strangely large on the shoulder patch. Why are they so large? According to the Avalanche's team site, it's so that fans in the stands during the outdoor game will be able to identify players more easily.
This is the seventh separate sweater worn by the Avalanche, and the 15th iteration of their uniform in team history.
