Caps' top pick Vrana pulls dazzling shootout move at development camp
Last month, the Washington Capitals used their 13thoverall pick in the NHL draft to take Jakub Vrana, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound left wing.
If the video below is any indication of what he’ll bring to the league at some point, it appears the Caps selected wisely in Philadelphia.
Here's the downright filthy move the 18-year-old native of the Czech Republic pulled off at Washington’s development camp this week:
We’d like to imagine Vrana then proceeded to take off his helmet, bow to the crowd and skate off the ice – but that probably didn’t happen. (Darn.)
Vrana, who played last season in the Swedish Hockey League for Linkoping, has been described as a guy who "likes to put the puck in the net and he’s good at it.” Wonder where they got that idea.
GIF'd Larry David, what do you think?
