Capitals' John Carlson is excited about the Pope coming to Washington
You know who is really excited about the Pontiff coming to town? John Carlson.
The Capitals defenseman, and brand new father as of June 15, pledges to "continue working on his faith" in this short video.
The Pope visits Washington Sept. 22-24.
In the video, Carlson nominates Jeremy Patton to pledge his faith in a video. Patton might be the former player for the St. Louis Cardinals, who expresses his religious faith on Twitter, with his bio reading: "Just letting the Lord lead me through my journey. Phillipians 4:13 #IAmSecond."
