Canada's prime minister trolls Blackhawks fan Obama with Olympic hockey joke
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wasn't about to let President Barack Obama get the last word.
While welcoming the Chicago Blackhawks to the White House for the third time in six years on Thursday, Obama lobbed a friendly shot toward the United States' neighbors to the north by saying that he'd bring the Stanley Cup to his state dinner with Trudeau next month.

Although Obama's jab received a fair amount of chuckles, Trudeau got the last laugh with a jab of his own over Twitter:
.@POTUS I’ll come with Canada’s Olympic hockey golds from, oh, how about 2002 & 2010? ?? https://t.co/A6OciP4fX3

Canada claimed the gold medal in the Olympics in 2002 and 2010, defeating the United States in the finale both times.
Now, it should be noted that the Blackhawks have more Canadians on their roster than Americans — including Winnipeg-born Jonathan Toews, who serves as their captain. Toews, in fact, noted that Obama has yet to attend one of the team's games while he's been in office.
"We're happy to be back."

Looks like Trudeau and POTUS have lots to talk about when the newly-elected Canadian prime minister and his wife visit the White House on Mar. 10.
