Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask made a wild, diving save to rob the Stars

There have been a plethora of "save of the year" candidates so far this NHL season, but the one Tuukka Rask made on Sunday afternoon has to be up there with the best of them.

During the second period of the Bruins-Stars game in Dallas, the Bruins goalie dove across his own crease to make a stunning desperation save. He managed to get an arm on the puck and deflect it, robbing Dallas' Patrick Sharp of what looked to be a sure goal.

The athletic display came at an important time for the Bruins, too, as they were trying to hold onto a two-goal lead heading into the game's final frame. Ultimately, Boston pulled out the win, 6-3.
