Blackhawks, Capitals, Lightning send signed jerseys to Denna Laing
The Chicago Blackhawks were the latest NHL team to send their well wishes to injured women's hockey player Denna Laing.
The Stanley Cup champions recently gifted a signed hockey jersey to Laing, who is recovering from a severe spinal cord injury suffered at the Women's Winter Classic.

The Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning also have reached out to Laing in this manner while the long-time rivals Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens are auctioning off game-worn and autographed jerseys from their contest on Jan. 19.

The 24-year-old Laing has limited movement in her arms and no sensation below her chest after fracturing and shattering multiple vertebrae when she fell head-first into the boards.
