Woodson: Pack will pay prez a visit
President Barack Obama's desire to see his hometown Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLV was not lost on Packers cornerback Charles Woodson after Sunday's 21-14 win at Soldier Field.
"The president don't want to come watch us at the Super Bowl, guess what? We're going to see him," Woodson told the team in the locker room.
Woodson then capped his speech by leading a chant of "White House!"
The president predicted a 20-17 Bears win last week and said he would become the first sitting President to attend a Super Bowl if the Bears beat Green Bay.
The Packers will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dallas on Feb. 6 on FOX, though it still is unclear whether Obama will be in attendance.
