Woman uses chainsaw to carve wooden J.J. Watt statue

Della Meredith of La Porte, Texas, is like the J.J. Watt of wood carving, and she uses a chainsaw on her statues.

Meredith, a former art teacher who turned her love of chainsaws and wood into a business, usually goes with totem poles or fish as her carving subjects, but after a friend requested a Watt statue for his mancave, she got to work. The end result after roughly four or five days is this amazing 5-foot, 80-pound sculpture that captures Watt's being right down to the eye black.

Meredith told KPRC 2 in Houston that she would love to see what Watt thought of her work. Ask and you shall receive, Meredith:

For a behind the scenes look at the making of the Watt statue, KPRC has you covered. If you'd like a mancave statue of your own, she is taking requests
