Watch the first touchdown pass of Carson Wentz's career
Well, it didn’t take long for Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz to get acclimated to the speed of the NFL. After the Eagles received the opening kickoff against the Cleveland Browns, Wentz orchestrated a near-perfect drive down the field for a score.
The first touchdown of his career came just over five minutes into the game, and it was an absolute beauty of a throw to Jordan Matthews from 19 yards out.

Last season, the Eagles as a team had just one touchdown pass on opening drives, a number Wentz has already matched.

It’s obviously still very early, but the rookie has shown he can make all of the throws and that his arm strength is exceptional. Now, he just needs to do it consistently.
