WATCH: Rex Ryan says Tyrod Taylor 'bet on himself' by coming to Buffalo
The Buffalo Bills signed Tyrod Taylor in the offseason to join a quarterback competition that featured EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel. In training camp, Taylor beat out both players for the starting job and has led the Bills to a solid start this season.
Needless to say, Rex Ryan is glad Taylor chose to sign with the Bills. He talked about Taylor's decision to "bet on himself" prior to Sunday's game with Terry Bradshaw.
Through three games, Taylor has completed 74 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns and just three interceptions. He has exceeded expectations of many after sitting behind Joe Flacco in Baltimore since entering the league in 2011.
With a strong defense and Taylor playing at a high level, the Bills look poised to have a great season, and it all starts with the team's quarterback play.
