WATCH: Rams' Jenkins keeps head in the game, Cardinals out of end zone

St. Louis Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins evoked memories of David Tyree with a spectacular interception in the first half against the Arizona Cardinals.

Lined up against Cardinals speedster John Brown, Jenkins leaped at the goal line to haul in Carson Palmer's pass from midfield. The ball momentarily popped loose but Jenkins managed to pin it against the back and top of his helmet before cradling it as he fell to the ground.

It came on the same field - albeit with much lower stakes - as Tyree's sensational reception that kept the game-winning drive alive for the New York Giants in their stunning upset of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in February 2008.

The pick gave Jenkins nine interceptions in his three-plus seasons, with one-third of them coming against the Cardinals.
