WATCH: Metrodome falls, U.S. Bank Stadium rises in 64 seconds
The Minnesota Vikings' new home is nearly complete. The team announced on its official Facebook page that the construction of U.S. Bank Stadium -- the venue in which the Vikings plan to play home games starting next season -- is 80 percent finished.
To hype the progress made to date, the Vikings released a remarkable time-lapse video. The video begins with the deconstruction of the old Metrodome, then transitions into the construction of the new stadium on the same exact plot of land. At the end, there is a view of the project as it appears today.
