WATCH: Julian Edelman breaks Morris Claiborne's ankles on 16-yard catch
Julian Edelman is one of the toughest wide receivers to cover out of the slot, but he has the ability to play outside the numbers too. He proved that in the first half against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
With Morris Claiborne lined up across from him, Edelman faked outside and cut back towards the inside of the field. Claiborne, however, didn't follow him as Edelman put him on the ground with his footwork.
Claiborne learned just how hard it is to stop Edelman, even when he's not in the slot. With moves like that and a future Hall of Famer in Tom Brady as his quarterback, Edelman is a matchup nightmare.
It looks like it's just a Julian Edelman 16-yard catch. But the MOVE he put on Mo Claiborne?? No words. #NEvsDAL http://t.co/azcOK2UGtx
