Watch Dak Prescott cap thrilling Cowboys win with TD pass to Jason Witten in OT
Dak Prescott did it again for the Dallas Cowboys. After coming up in the clutch with a fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Dez Bryant to tie the score, Prescott connected with Jason Witten on a 5-yard pass in overtime to cap the Cowboys’ 29-23 comeback win over the Eagles on Sunday.
Prescott capped a 12-play, 75-yard drive with his throw to Witten, who hauled in his first touchdown of the season. Prescott bought time in the pocket, eluding some pressure up front, then rolled out to his left and found Witten wide open in the end zone.
The win was critical for Dallas, which takes a two-game lead over Philadelphia in the NFC East. Prescott, who struggled to find a rhythm in the first three quarters Sunday, finished 19-of-39 for 287 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for a touchdown.
Prescott’s latest heroics will make the Cowboys’ decision only more difficult when Tony Romo is cleared to return. For now, Dallas has won six in a row and is in great position for a playoff berth.
