WATCH: Calvin Johnson makes ridiculous TD catch look easy
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson seemed to bend the rules of physics again on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.
On his first-half touchdown catch, Johnson (6-5, 237 lbs.) took advantage of man-to-man coverage with Packers cornerback Sam Shields (5-11, 184 lbs.). Somehow, Megatron leapt above Shields to pluck the ball out of the air, then secured the catch with one hand on the nose of the ball. He controls the ball all the way to the ground -- despite a desperation swipe at his arm -- to complete the 17-yard touchdown catch.

Sometimes Megatron makes a crazy TD catch & all you can do is just: ¯_(ツ)_/¯ This is one of those times. #GBvsDET https://t.co/Lr3mMXN03N

Johnson had three touchdown catches like this one against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12, so a little bit of the Thanksgiving magic must have carried over into the Packers game. This play might have been the last of it, though. Megatron finished with 44 yards on three catches, as the Lions fell in a 27-23 thriller.
