Vereen to visit the White House Thursday with his old team

Just because Shane Vereen is now a member of the Giants and longer with the Super Bowl champion Patriots anymore does not mean he can't knock off an item in the top range of his bucket list. On Tursday, Vereen will get the chance to meet President Obama and get an inside look at the White House. He can't wait.

"Yeah, very excited, very excited," Vereen said during a conference call with reporters on the first day of the team's offseason workout program. "It always has been something I have wanted to do. I can check it off my bucket list. I am looking forward to meeting the president."

When all is said and done, Vereen will head back north to rejoin his new team, the Giants, for the next phase of their offseason program.
