Twitter beef: DeAngelo Hall and DeAndre Hopkins go at it
As captured on the premier episode of HBO's Hard Knocks, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins don't have the strongest of relationships.
During a joint practice between the two teams, Hall made some contact with Hopkins -- which prompted Hopkins to fire back at Hall with a verbal onslaught. Later in practice, Hopkins was matched up with Hall in one-on-one drills when he made a quick cut that left Hall in the dirt and being tended to by trainers.
After Hard Knocks debuted on Tuesday night, the previously described scene has drawn a ton of buzz on Twitter. Apparently, the beef is not over between the two players.
It all started when Hopkins re-tweeted a meme he found to be hilarious that shows Hall falling to the ground after getting beat by Hopkins. The meme shows Hall on the back of a milk carton with a caption that reads "have you seen my ankles." The retweet has since been deleted by Hopkins.

Hall responded by questioning Hopkins' career accolades, referencing the play in practice that got Hopkins and fans all riled up.
When the highlight of your career is catching a 10yd pass on a DB while he slips and you feel like you did something. #SadDayInFootball

Hopkins ended up getting the last word in. For now at least.
Hope treatment going well. https://t.co/9wR4UrjEAP
