Tundra Talk: Previewing Packers Week 15 game with Bears, recapping Seahawks win

In this week’s episode of the Tundra Talk Podcast, Joe D’Aloisio and Joe Olkives breakdown the Packers dominating 38-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks and look ahead to the Chicago Bears.

One of the biggest issues all season has been the Packers defensive unit, unable to get to the quarterback and force turnovers. That was not the case this week. The Packers forced Russell Wilson to throw a career-high five interceptions and also forced a fumble. Why was this unit so successful against the Seahawks?

On the offensive side of the ball Aaron Rodgers continues to thrive despite battling a hamstring injury. Rodgers completed 18-of-23 for 246 yards and three touchdowns. Rodgers’ game started off with a bang when he hit Davante Adams on 66 yard touchdown strike on the opening drive. Adams has had a bounce back season after a sophomore slump and is proving that he is a reliable option for Rodgers.

PACKERS: Stock up, stock down following win over Seattle

PACKER PERSPECTIVE: McCarthy deserves credit for dramatic turnaround

As for Jordy Nelson, he continues to show that he has full recovered from the ACL injury. Nelson caught two more touchdown passes in the win and now lead all wide receivers with 12 touchdowns. So, who has been the biggest surprise this year; Adams or Nelson?

At 7-6, the Packers are still in playoff mode and need to run the table to have a shot at the postseason. This week, the Packers head to frigid Chicago to take on the Bears, who also get Alshon Jeffery back from suspension. Can the Packers win streak continue and can they keep their season alive? They’ll need to in a tough divisional game on the road.

All these questions and more are answered in the latest Tundra Talk podcast.
