Tom Brady shares Facebook post hinting he may play in preseason opener

It was originally thought that Tom Brady would not see the field in the New England Patriots' preseason opener Thursday, but those plans may have changed. According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots are still contemplating whether or not to play Brady against the Packers on Thursday.

In addition to Reiss' report, Brady also shared a Facebook post on Thursday, hinting that he may be on the field tonight. The caption read: "Good to be HOME! Helmet is on... I’ll see you tonight Gillette Stadium!!!"

Well, if his helmet is on, he'll at least be suited up for the game. We may not know whether No. 12 will take any snaps until gametime, but Brady seems to be hinting at something here.

The Patriots will take on the Packers at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight, where Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to see plenty of playing time. He is among five players to watch in the preseason opener.
